Willing to Do Work for my portfolio
I got this idea from someone else who posted this thread yesterday. I made a thread about a week ago, and I remember someone posting something along the lines of "you just cant say you can do that". Since I have no resume to speak of, I am willing to do some work for free so I can gain skills and put it my portfolio. I am willing to do most work involving design, but I am really looking for editing work. I am also doing this for personal reasons, I really want to put my video editing skills to the test. I have done minor editing work for my friend's clips4sale store, but that was for my friend. Hit me up on ICQ if you want to talk.
Hell, we all got to start somewhere. |

Are you willing to do galleries (preferably photo). If so, email me: [email protected]

im the one that said you cant just say it, do it...
and her eyou are wanting work to do for free... better idea... not for free, say discount take a chance on me... OR sign up as an affiliate to some quality sites... use some of their content and PRACTICE... i mean youre here offering it for free... so instead, explore your own creative skills with some content ( if you even need any) and slap it up in a portfolio... the portfolio alone is a good project for you... it shows what youre capable of... if youre doing it for nothing... then make it on your own... dont offer your services to people for free... if anything... make some premades... without copyrighted content of course... only use that shit to practice and show the public, never use it for your own... unlesss youre promoting that program with galleries or something... theres another great idea for you... sign up to some programs... make some galleries... that can both show your skills on design and trailer choppin... and then promote those galelries... submit them... make some extra cash... is that a dodge you have there?

Sounds crazy, but too many creative people do this in the name of "building a portfolio". Is bullshit. Want to build a portfolio, do it with your own projects with your own bottom line in mind. If you have any skills at all the work will flow and word of mouth is your most important asset. Don't give it away just to make a name. If you can do quality work, the work will follow without having to whore yourself in the process. ![]() |
