I still have a few items, but very little matching - black top, white booty shorts, etc.

The girls love the GFY logo swag and almost always ask to keep them, and I have a hard time saying no to nekkid chicks begging me for anything (that's why I try to steer clear of strip clubs, hehe)...

You can either mail me some more or bring some to Vegas (just be sure to give it to me the first day, before everyone else hits you up).

Like, Girls in GFY Swag, and Classic Threads. The Classic Threads idea came from my late lunch at a restaurant. We had a slow ass waiter, who first served my wife a glass of water, and it had lipstick marks on the rim. When we called him back, he acted like he was pissed at us for pointing it out. He then returned with a fresh glass of water, however the glass had a big crack in it.

When we called him back yet again, he looked at us as if we had cracked the glass.

Next, we ordered a bottle of moderately priced wine ~$40, but a familiar brand. When he uncorked it and I tasted it, I immediately rejected it (only the second time I have ever done that in many years of drinking wine).

The bottle was either improperly corked or stored improperly. Instead of taking it back right away, the waiter started arguing with me, saying that just because I didn't like it, didn't mean I could reject it. I pointed out to him that the cork was wet from top to bottom, smelled musty/moldy, and the wine tasted like vinegar.

I offered him to taste it, but he advised me that he didn't drink. At that point I called for the Manager. He apologized and said that the waiter was fairly new and unfamilar with serving wine. He substitued the wine with another bottle which was fine.

At least 20 minutes passed between when we finshed our salad and the entrees finally arrived. The waiter kind of dropped the plates in front of us. My lasagna was under-cooked and my wife's Mahi-Mahi was burnt (and no, she didn't ask for Cajun style).

By that time I was totally pissed, and rather than wait any longer, I called back the Manager and demanded my check. After such an experience, and the fact that we had not even eaten out entrees, I would have expected to only be charged for the wine and the salads.

Instead, the Manager says we can either wait for them to prepare the food again, or we will have to pay full price. I paid the full price, but I didn't put any tip on the payment (and I am usually a good tipper).

As we were walking out, the Waiter said to the Manager (in a voice clearly intended for us to hear), that he knew we wouldn't tip him and that we were just trying to get a free meal.

My wife tried to pull me out the door, but I turned around and flipped them off and said, dude, I just paid for a fucking meal that I didn't even eat, and you screwed up at least 4-5 times (I recounted the lipstick glass, the broken glass, the bad wine, his arguing with me about it, the slow service, and the bad food preparation). I finished with a flourish, telling him NO, you're not getting a fucking tip for that!!!

Oh, and I said it loud enough for the entire restaurant to hear...

Whew! Thanks for letting me vent = )

Anyway, as we left I told my wife about the RealSinatra waiter thread on GFY, and we laughed our asses off...

So what was my point? Yeah, a Classic Threads forum would be fun...



We had a nice meal at another place, so the story has a happy ending!
