Seriously bad idea to buy a new car within a year of a new house. Rebuild the nest egg a bit. Also make sure whatever car you buy you can pay for with CASH and not have to pull out an auto loan. I was making $300k/yr and thought the good times would never end.... Market/economy shifted on me and got my ass handed to me....

for you guys saying Dodge I had an 06 Charger R/T where the tranny went to hell on my somewhere around 20k miles and ended up lemon law'n it before 30kmiles.

I've been a HUGE dodge truck fan for years but ask any dodge guy and they'll tell you cummins engine is the best you can buy but the trannies leave plenty to be desired. I have family who have gone through 4 transmissions before having even the slightest engine problem....

Dodge + power = bad news for the tranny

the mitsu eclipse is a joke, might be reliable but it doesn't have any power and is just not worth the price of admission. Total lack of power leaves a LOT to be desired. They also don't handle very well. You get handling roughly as bad as a mustang only with the mustang you at least have some power. Lets not forget the sound ;) the eclipse sounds incredibly gay. Certainly isn't a mans car so you might like it.

these have been available in the states for at least 6 months now. Payments on them are absurd, however, since 1) Audis residual sucks in general and 2) its a first model release so there is no estimated depreciation to base the residual on.

simpler terms... my payments on a 65k 08 BMW M3 are lower then a 55k 08 Audi S5. Something to think about :2 cents:
