100 sodas?
Its really no biggie, i just dont get the pop soda thing
Coke or "gaseosa"...
pop, which is more of a midwestern thing :)
Actually I say soda, but people look at me strange
for me, it's always been soda
I grew up mostly in Washington, so I call it pop. In AZ, it's called all kinds of different shit since everyone here is from somewhere else.
Funny everyone in TX says COKE for every type of soda in general and Louisiana people say Soda Water.
My early childhood was spent in the New Orleans suburbs of Gretna and Harvey, so it's Coke.
To clarify, 7-up is clear, so if you were ordering a lemon-lime beverage, you'd say 7-up, even if they had Sprite. If you wanted something specific like a Dr. Pepper, or Root Beer, you'd have to call it out. California has made one change in me. Into my 30's I'd order a Coke, the majority of restaurants cary Pepsi. I get asked "Is Pepsi ok?" so many times, sometimes I'll instinctively ask for a Pepsi. Ironically, at the house, we drink neither Coke or Pepsi. Sherry prefers RC Cola. I drink Diet Rite. Not only is Diet Rite cheaper, but it doesn't have some of the side effects Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi have. Hope the marketing people are scratching their heads over this one. |
3 pages on soda or pop.
fuck me sideways. |
Waitress: "Anything to drink with that?"
Me: "Yes, I'll have a coke please." Her: "A COKE coke?" Me: "Uh, is there any other kind? Yes, a coke" Her: "Well there's 7-up coke, mountain dew coke, pepsi coke...." Me: "Sorry to interrupt, but is everyone in this part of the world retarded?" :D |
It's pop
they call it here "softdrinks"
