Are Your June Sales Up or Down?

Halfway through the month, how are your sales going?

If they are up, how do you account for the upswing?

If they are down, how do you account for the downswing?

Without a network and without affiliates my sites never do very well, but I think this month is maybe one of the worst months ever (for me anyway).

I blame this on a terrible and uncertain economy, insane gas prices, major inflation, and the overwhelming proliferation of free porn online via many sources, especially the industry cancer known as tube sites.

    What say you?

I'm very surprised at June. Looks like it will be a good month. About 35% better than May.

I just took a look at your site, are you talking about your Verotel or your CCBill sales being down?

I run the 3 sites in the sig, and I run around a dozen clip stores as well. Overall, sales are down across the board - Verotel, CCBill, Clip Sales, etc.

Until all of my sites are merged into a network, I am the only person promoting and marketing my stuff, so sales are never great, but this month just seems especially slow.

I've spoken to a few others in the biz, who say the same, but most people don't want to admit shortfalls. I guess I understand that, as they don't want to look weak. They need to keep up a good front for their affiliates.

Since I don't have anyone to answer to I can be honest. In hindsight I suppose this post is not very good, as the replies will probably just be from people who are either really doing well somehow, or claiming they are, in hopes of attracting new affiliates.

          Sales are rocking.

I credit it to us busting ass for the last 6 months.
