Well first of all, most guys measure their dick wrong. You have to do it from the side, starting with the closest "usable" part of the base. Don't jab the ruler into your stomach, and don't measure the underside and run the ruler down part of your balls either.

It also depends on how these studies are being done. I read about one where they asked guys on a beach during spring break to get their dicks measured. The average size was pretty large, which makes sense because only the most confident guys would have agreed to take part. Definitely not scientific at all.

At least for American men the average size is about 6 inches. About 95% are under 7 1/2 inches.
