We've had this discussion a few times here. IMO what happens is what you believe happens. If you believe in heaven, you go to heaven. If you believe you rot in a box, you rot in a box. If you believe in reincarnation, you are reincarnated. If you believe you'll float around the earth forever, you'll float around the earth forever.
