Saw it yesterday, was better than the Eric Bana one, and I like Tim Roth and Ed Norton and they played their roles perfectly. I think Iron Man was the better of the two though.

Ant-man:
With ?Shaun of the Dead? director, Edgar Wright attached to the film you know this movie is going to rock. For those not familiar with Ant-Man, He is Dr. Hank Pym who has created a way to shrink himself and communicate with insects. Ant-Man is one of the original Avengers. He later becomes ?Giant Man.?
Could Simon Pegg star in another one of Wright?s films? Let?s hope so. These two are gold together.
Captian America:
Nick Cassavetes ihas been rumored to direct this film but Marvel official status on the movie is that a writer is engaged. The writer being David Self.
Thor:
Thor might b Marvel?s biggest challenge in translating to film. Most of Marvel?s heroes are grounded and makes you feel like they really could exist. With Thor he really is the god of thunder.
Matthew Vaughn was set to direct this move but Marvel?s official status on the film is ?writer engaged.? Hopefully that is only a mistake.
The Avengers:
The plan is to have individual character chapters before this movie and then bring them all together to create the Avengers. That means Iron Man, Hulk, Ant-Man, Captain America, Thor, Nick Fury and more all in the same film. Jon Favreau is interested in directing.
That?s the list of Marvel?s self produced movies but all look out for these movies licensed to other studios.

You know, 'The Happening' has been hammered with bad reviews.
Despite them - I decided to see it this evening.
Needless to say, I went with low expectations, but came out very satisfied.
I've not seen the trailers, or how the film was billed - but it's definitely not an action flick.
It's hard to classify it as horror - although there are definitely some quease-inducing scenes. Moreover, it's like a hitchcockian classic - a slow boiling thriller, with real depth and poingancy.
I do have a question though: I saw this in Paris, and the closing scene was in Paris. Interested to know if the closing scene was different depending on your country.Comment

No rants, no raves. Just "meh". There was some crazy action going on that made me want to yawn.
The first one is better, and despite what people say, it has some great action scenes -- and Ang Lee happens to be a great, high caliber director.
the new Hulk was made by the guy who did Transporter 2. Nuff said.

I still don't see why people rag on the first one so much. It was very well done.
Still though, this one was just as good, or better even. It really delved into his feelings more, the explanations more... and had some very intense action.
I'd definitely recommend seeing it, especially if you ever want to see the Avengers movie (should it ever be completed).Comment

Check my post, lol. Ant man is up next from Marvel studios and according to story lines so far it will also cover the wasp some. They are building up to the Avengers. Ya not the true first Avengers (otherwise no Captian America etc).
