Your cat will be fine with the dog in a few days. When I got my dog 4 years ago I was worried I would have to take him back coz my cat stopped eating and never stayed in the house for more then 10 mins. He always wanted out and stayed well away from the dog. After 5 days or so he started getting curious and trying to go up to the dog but since he was a puppy he wanted to play and the cat just ran away. After 2 weeks tho the cat didn't bother his arse with the dog anymore and if he got too close he gave him a little smack on the nose.

They got on ok until my cat died 2 years ago. The dog was scared of him tho even tho when he grew up he was massive. The cat still strutted around like he owned the place tho.

I will tell ya whats crazy. My bengal is sheding like crazy and taking shits on my floors today :( I'm trying to give him extra love but he is being a little fuck face

My old 4lb female cat was the boss, she'd walk up to my rottweiler and hit him while he was eating, he's move over and let her steal his food. If I went near him when he was eating he'd raise his lip showing a monster fang and growl at me.

Once the cat realises it's still the boss it'll be o.k.

any cat that gets that close to my dog, does not live to tell about it.
