Damm Lakers. How do they Lose That Game?

This is the second finals game I went to. I was very disappointed by the turnovers, and the shot selection by the lakers. I have to give it up to Boston for playing the way they did. They have heart and play like a team. The only good thing about this is that tickets for game 5 will be much cheaper.... Oh well. Next year, Bynum will be back, and the Lakers will be back in the finals for sure.....

Kobe is not a leader on the court. He is just a fancy scorer who misses WAY too many shots.

That was one of the best games I have seen. I'm for the Celtics but I hope it goes a few more games.

            i was very disappointed too.

i guess, if there is ever a discussion about Kobe/MJ with the last ball again, the game last nite would favor MJ for sure.

MJ would not let his team blow 20-something lead. not that i know of.

lets not forget selfish whiny bitch who after the next game will be blaming his team AGAIN.

I really like the guys the lakers have around Kobe. Big time talents without big time egos. Remove Kobe from this mix and you still have a solid playoff team

I have a thread about trading Kobe: http://www.gfy.com/showthread.php?t=834638 I would honestly put the lakers as my favorite NBA team if they have the BALLS to do a move like this. Talk around town is the Pistons are going to blow up the lineup and bring a guy like Carmelo in so I'll be shopping for a new team if they bring in a guy like that which goes against EVERYTHING detroit has stood for.

You guys realize in the Lakers just about did the same thing to the celtics back in Boston.
                Huge 4th quarter comeback.

No lead is enough with these two teams. Both teams have now learned this. The Lakers the hard way.

No.. Not quite. Maybe if they were in the East.

it all started to go bad when the lakers were hi 5'ing and thanking each other at halftime as if they won already.
celtics defensive was unbelievable strong in the 3rd and 4th and they started to make baskets and gain some confidence...

good enough for a #6 seed in the west yes even this year... Oh how the mighty west is looking weaker now. The best the west offers isn't even able to do what the easts #8 seed was able to do... (push the celtics to 7)

NOW factor what I said above with this... Who could get in exchange for Kobe? My favorite scenario is the Bulls... Gordon + #1 pick and the rights to an impact PG + a young big for backup purposes.

My main reasons for trading Kobe is
#1 he's a cancer, sooner or later he WILL dog his teammates and alienate people
                        #2 He'll never be a "team" guy
#3 his value is still high since he is a very good REGULAR SEASON player
#4 the Lakers are in a shape where they don't "need" Kobe so they don't have to bend over backwards to make him happy anymore.

Fans might not like it but I'd say the Lakers could very well be a better team if they trade Kobe. I am a huge Pistons and Spurs fan simply because everybody on those teams ALWAYS puts the team ahead of personal gain which is why they have been the dominate teams of the past 10yrs. Selfish me first players don't win titles. They can win all the individual awards in the world but they'll fuckup a "team" in the long run.

Did you even THINK about the kind of lineup they'd have if they traded Kobe?

Kobe is a cancer and a BAD locker room guy with BAD leadership skills. He'll only guide the young players down the wrong paths.

Shaq as EVERYBODY knows is the reason for those last 3 championships and Bynum is the key to the next 3. Do you really want him being brought up with Kobe around?
