Creepy People ...

Do you attract a certain type of people?

I find that I attract & get along with all kinds of people, but the especially eccentric type folks really seem to feel comfortable chatting me up & telling me their life stories.
I mean in the grocery store line, in a waiting room, wherever. I could be at a funeral & the weirdest person there will start talking to me about their latest stint in rehab. Seriously.
They just tend to zone in on me, sit down & start blabbing ...

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy it 98% of the time, but every now & then someone crosses my comfort line & gives me the twitches.

Anyone else get a lot of fruitcakes hanging around?
Is it my body language? Why do I get the nutty ones?

I've learned the eye contact is the number one reason someone will start to talk to you. If you avoid eye contact, and especially if you frown, people will hesitate to chat you up.

I find it funny because nowadays, I get a lot of older women talking to me... white haired ladies who seem to LOVE my colored hair and tattoos. It's quite a change from when I was younger with colored hair and tattoos. They didn't like me so much then.

Also- married men, gigolos, guys who wear a vest and no shirt out to bars, the unemployed, and those with well below average intelligence. They seem to like me a lot, too. If someone asks me out these days, I automatically assume he's a total nut job.
