American Express Small Business Platinum vs Gold Card?
I'm currently using an Amex Gold for quite a bit of my business stuff. I was wondering how many people are using the Small Business Platinum rather then the Gold card? You get four companion airline tickets per year for free, VIP Lounge access in airports etc. $150 statement deduction or $25,000 miles.
Platinum = $450 year Gold = $125 year Guess it just depends how often you fly. |

I have the gold... I have looked into the platinum and if I traveled more it would be worth it. I've never been in one of the lounges but I can only imagine that they would be worth it by themselves. Particularly if they have electricity for your laptops... have you ever tried getting a plug-in at a major airport?

Amex here in Australia have upgrades you can get for the Gold that gives the same points a platinum so look around they might be in the US as well, its like $150 to upgrade over 900 pa for a platinum. I just told them to stick my black as I can not justify the 4300 a year renewal and fankly neither can they as rewards have just been remved not gained.
