Congrats.

12 years of smoking, now 8 years no smoking. It proved to be stupid to begin it.

Snake Doctor 06-10-2008 02:06 PM

Congrats. Today is smoke free day 25 for me.

From what I've read your lung function drastically starts to improve at around the 3 month mark.

I'm still winded walking up a flight of stairs, but I'm waiting for the months to go by and see how things improve.

Just remember, no matter how long you've quit for, one puff and it'll be like you never quit. It's that easy to start again. :(

BTW if you need motivation to stay quit, this video is working great for me

That's a good decision, hopefully you'll not start again. I'm a non-smoker and I appreciate when people around me do not smoke. :)

Congrats! Everybody keeps talking about how much better everything taste and smell when you give up smoking. I gave it up a few years back, and no difference at all. It taste the same as it has always done:-)

*hugs and kisses*

but careful: after 7 months you will think that one cigarette might not harm you - but it will. stay strong

So true! I quit smoking Jan07 and now I'm sitting here with a pack and my morning coffee.
I'm going on the patch again this weekend, just trying to enjoy my last binge.

Smoking makes you stinky.

Unless you're smoking herb. In which case you smell like my living room.

Like home.

Don't start smoking again!!!!! They are not your little friends!!!
