that's a pretty stupid video that I don't know why I just watched.
First, not all NIC's allow you to change the mac like that.
Second, most people are going through a router so you would want to change the mac on the router instead of the PC.
Third, a proxy would be a lot easier.

That;s the scary part dude, even after going through 5 proxies it is still banned, that means there is a way to ban you by MAC, think about it if other organizations do that without telling you and then you go use a proxy and think you are anonymous where in fact your computer gives you away. I would not be surprised if google uses that too to compare what people search for with and without proxies.

no it doesn't mean that

the proxies themselves are probably banned I think

Exactly, try getting a clean fresh IP, not a proxy as most public proxies are probably banned by the time you try use it.

Is your current IP banned? If so, then not so easily. If you have a windows dedicated server, just open up IE from there and check. If you don't, then ask your host to setup a proxy server on your machines to test it that way.

look Mac cards are very cheap these days.
go directly to the network without a router and you can have a new MAC simply by changing your NIC card every time.
then again is it worth going through all that trouble ? Does Digg gives you that much traffic that it is worth cheating ?

afaik MAC addresses are not routable so a website wouldnt know what your MAC address was once you had been through a router from your ISP as only your IP address is routed.

Dude, connect to your modem directly.. No router..

Create a batch file..

And put this in..

IPCONFIG /RELEASE
netsh interface ip set address name="Local Area Connection" static 10.0.0.10 255.0.0.0
netsh interface ip set address "Local Area Connection" dhcp

Run it.. It will change your static ip everytime..

Dont forget to save it has filename.bat

Make sure you are connected directly to your modem..
