Series doesn't start until someone loses a home game. Celtics took care of biz at home barely. Celtics have been up 2-0 in 2 series and gone to 7 games both times. People that don't understand basketball always get "sweep happy" when teams win their first 2 home games.
That game was pretty much handed to the Celtics and the Lakers still almost won it. Celtics won thats fine but I have never seen such a lopsided game in terms of officiating. It will balance out when the Lakers get back home.

Garnett is as soft as they come and what did he do with the T'wolves besides get bounced out of the first round like 6 straight season with a rather decent team? Put Kobe on those teams with Latener, Cassell, Spreewell etc...and they would have gone to at least the WCSF if not the WCF. Garnett is a LOSER who will only get a ring because hes playing with 2 multiple time all stars on his team.

he took them to the west finals... You apparently forget your history.... SPre was a nutjob that eventually bounced out of the league because he couldn't "feed" his family on only $5M a year and refused to play for less.
The T-wolves lineup imploded because you had a white guy that was a stand still shooter to go with a pair of nuts (spre and cassell) They had a couple runs at it with 1 going to the west finals. When the lineup blewup there was nowhere for Garnett to go. T-Wolves have had horrible management for as long as they've existed and Garnett suffered because of this. He doesn't like to be "the man" on any team. He is more of scarecrow version of Duncan. Quietly put up points and boards and let the other guys do the big time shots He's a LEADER and incredible defensive player. He's just not a really dominant offensive player. A guy like Pierce can scare at will. Garnett has to work for his shots.
Gasol was an All-Star in at least 06
Odom won the bronze in 04 and will be an All-Star sooner or later
Bynum will be a superstar
so yeah the Lakers have a very good core. 3 superstars on the Celtics along with NOBODY else doesn't exactly mean they're really better than everybody else. Think about how bad they played when Ray Allen was struggling.
