I could be completely wrong but i think in ccbill's attempt to make the sign up pages load faster for the customer, they use a ton of servers across the world. The problem is that if one of their CDN carriers takes a dump then all the servers that carrier hosts go down as well. This would explain why certain regions of the USA, world have access when other parts are up and working fine.

:2 cents:

My CDN from Cavecreek is still up and running, but its on Level 3 so that may be why.

or are your guys busy writing a bullshit generic email to fob us all off with about how it was only down for 2 minutes!

We have systems in place that help the redundancy of the signup forms, so before I posted that I first went to a clients site and was able to load the form, so it was at least working for me. Im sorry to hear about your frustration. We are working on this, ill keep you updated.

natas 06-05-2008 04:25 PM

hmm affiliate admin down here, sign up page is loading but its sloooooow and the css is fucked up :( hope they fix it soon

RhondaN 06-05-2008 04:27 PM

I also have a feeling that a lot people saying their Signup Pages are working may be referring to the CC-Bill default pages that CC-Bill installs on the webmaster's server. Of course those would be up, but my customized signup forms on bill.ccbill.com are not working.

freek01 06-05-2008 04:28 PM

Down here also in the Netherlands. admin is not working and the signup pages are also not loading and I havenīt made a sale in 90 minutes. which is very odd around this time.

Freek

chymp 06-05-2008 04:29 PM

That's it, I'm going back to glo-bill.

No, I'm talking about the actual sign-up form. I'm not retarded. :winkwink:

It isnt just that Mark...we are calling and getting different stories, I understand your mail server is probably down but my only email about this was from my Epoch rep. Doug is out of the office and we just dont have a clue what is going on.

Ditto...

bill.ccbill.com is working for us - so the join pages are loading and working. Yeah!

Admin area at webadmin.ccbill.com is not reachable.

RyuLion 06-05-2008 04:30 PM

I was about to say, don't scare me please..but no, its not coming up for me here in Mexico City..:(

2MuchMark 06-05-2008 04:31 PM

Hi Everyone,

I talked to Corvett and he told me they are working on the problem.

CCBill's software etc are all working. From a location in Vancouver we can ping them and get the sign-up pages no problem, but from Montreal we can't. Sounds like their network admin made a goof.

WE LOVE YOU CCBILL!

We have (I think) 13 servers with Cavecreek and we can get our NATS server and no others. I can work around them if I have my Database...sadly thats down. I can get the buy credits bill.ccbill.com on one of our other sites that host elsewhere.

I think it is improving but as much as I like GFY i dont want my server updates here

cayme 06-05-2008 04:38 PM

LOL, I wasn't talking about anyone specifically. But since several people said their signup forms were up, I'm sure that some of them were just seeing their own servers.

Didn't mean to offend, but a lot of times some people say stupid stuff on GFY.

RhondaN 06-05-2008 04:43 PM

Honestly, I think it's my fault. Anytime I'm within hours of lauching a new site, there is always some meltdown with hosting, processors, etc.

brandonstills 06-05-2008 04:43 PM

Down for me in LA as well.

Yeah, I get ya'. There are some pretty dull bulbs around this place.

:upsidedow

RhondaN 06-05-2008 04:51 PM

Vette, my signup pages aren't working yet, but I'll give it a while longer.

I'm just looking at the bright side... no one can log in to cancel their memberships :1orglaugh

BTW, anyone having CC-bill withdraw can just go here:

andrej_NDC 06-05-2008 05:10 PM

Me neither...

Brent 3dSexCash 06-05-2008 05:11 PM

Kellie 06-05-2008 05:25 PM

I can access the admin, but still join pages are a no go

andrej_NDC 06-05-2008 05:31 PM

Everything works for me now.

Brent 3dSexCash 06-05-2008 05:34 PM

I am up as well. This has happened a few times in the last few weeks and probably more since these are the only times I noticed. I understand hardware problems happen; I am just curious what is happening that is causing these outages.

CCBill Paul 06-05-2008 05:49 PM

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING CCBILL PROCESSING

This afternoon, Thursday, June 5, 2008 at approximately 12:35 pm (Arizona Time) CCBill's primary hosting provider went under a DDOS attack, which created intermittent connectivity issues for our CCBill processing systems including: payment pages, transactional processing, referral tracking and our client reporting and account management.

Our Networks, Security and Systems Teams were able to combat this issue, and push these services to one of our redundant network locations in order to mitigate the results of this attack. As of 1:15 pm (Arizona Time) we returned to processing at or near the 100% level, and our transaction and refer (affiliate) networks are currently running at normal performance levels.

We are currently working to update our reporting servers, and will notify Clients via this News Area as soon as that data is available. Please rest assured that we will continue to aggressively monitor this situation, and will notify you immediately of any changes in processing.

We appreciate your understanding and patience. If you are still unable to reach a CCBill join form please contact our Client Support right away [email protected], or toll-free at 800.510.2859.

Brent 3dSexCash 06-05-2008 05:53 PM

Thanks Paul!

stickyfingerz 06-05-2008 06:07 PM

Also all back up now good stuff! Track down them dossing fuckers and lock them up. Hope that goes directly to the FBI as obviously it caused well over 5,000.00 in damages.
