fuck me, why can't I find a designer that doesn't flake out - Hiring!
I have hired 2 different guys in the past 3 weeks and both of them are currently MIA. I have not heard from one since this weekend when he messaged me and the other guy has been offline for 2 weeks. Fortunately for me I didn't pay either of them anything up front. Since I havn't heard from the latest guy in 4 days I'm assuming he doesn't want the work and I'm looking for someone else.
What I'm looking for - - 2 Header designs with matching colors on blank page below. I can provide the PSD logo along with a content zip for you to work with. - Full paysite design, this will include the main tour page (with header design) along with the join page, 1 blank template page and new site logo. I dont think the above, especailly the header design is very challenging for a good designer and have a deadline for the header designs by Monday and the paysite design by next Weds at the absolute latest. I can pay epass, check or wire and will pay once completed. I would like a seperate desginer for each project so I can make sure its dont by the deadlines above. Please post a link to your portfolio along with ICQ. Thanks in advance!

I don't do any work without receiving at least 50% of the payment upfront because clients flake out too. You're probably more likely to have a designer flake out if you don't pay them anything up front because if they start the project and then decide they don't want to do it they can just avoid you. If you pay 50% up front there is a pressure to finish to get the rest of the money.

you don't pay anything upfront and you wonder why your designers are flaking out?
there are no good designers that don't charge upfront for their work in freelance (barring very few circumstantial exception) for 2 reasons 1: they value their work and they understand its worth 2: they been doing it long enough to get screwed at least once by a client who disappeared and no one makes that mistake twice, cause working for free sucks |

Unless I knew the potential clients reputation, I would certainly expect to be paid at least 35% up front otherwise I am not even considering starting the projects.

oh man, i seen your program before, Affiliate design is nice but your sites are weak... please let us or me know when you redo your sites, i would definitely send some traffic your way to see how it goes...
gonna be tough to get a paysite design by next week by anyone thats good.... anyone thats good is busy and usually cant start for a week....
