                                                  This is the result of all these "newage" parents and their pussyfooting around with their kids. When I was that age if I had mouthed off at my mother even a fraction of that I would have gotten my ass handed to me, and again later when the ol' man got home. And I'd have fucking deserved it, for being a mouthy little prick who doesn't have a clue about respecting one's parents.

                                                  But as luck would have it, my parents had the guts and the sense of tough love enough to whallup me when I needed it, and it shows to this day. I have never used foul language in front of my parents, and won't tolerate anyone else disrespecting them either.

                                                  Kids often need a firm hand. Society has all but forgotten this, thus you have mothers like this sitting there all surprised by their brat's behavior.

                                                                          That kid has called CPS on his mother. He kept calling her an abuser all through the show. For example his mother nudged him with her elbow on the plane trip, and he called it abuse. What a little jerk off.

                                                                          His sister had died of brain cancer and the mom and boy are both a little screwy for sure, but she's doing him no favors by letting him get away with being stupid child. Thats the show in a nutshell.

But I don't think you can overlook the fact that this boy learned his face slapping and shut-upping somewhere.

                                                                                                          I'd call this one as a parent not doing her job right in the first place, and him being a reflection of her reaping what she has sown.
