I think this might cut to the crux of the matter.

Although I did recently see Jay Leno test-driving an electric car that would be just fine.

I think we will have electric cars which chicks and guys both like, but I'm not sure we have them yet. I think that is just one of those things where people think it makes them a good person to say, but it may not be how they behave.
