Oddly enough I was just talking to someone about blog networks. It's simple. Build blogs until your blue in the face. Then build some more. If each one makes you $2 a day, that's that. Sounds horrible but do the math - 300 blogs each making $2 a day is $600 a day.

Stupid easy money.

These particular 10 blogs are just sitting there. Have been for a looong while. I concentrate on 2 niches hard right now. Makes me more money.

That always sounds good in theory but it generally never works out. Its the same thing in mainstream where everyone tries to build a billion adsense sites.

I have a link up from like 1998 that I couldn't change if I wanted to... And it's still sending me joins every month.

I'm not saying build a billion sites. Your building blogs, so there is some quality involved. Hand written posts..... But once it's up, it will make you money until the end of time.

I put in 15 hours a week doing updates, getting backlinks, building new blogs, tweaking them...

Blogs get updated once a month and some up to 3 times a month

Nope I'm in the mid 4 fig region at the moment but many of the blogs are really "forgotten". I'm building up a new network right now with 50 blogs in the exgf niche though that I will keep more updated.

It's not 400 either It was a little wordplay on the 400th post but It's above 250.

Best thing I ever did for my blogs was purchase Dragon NaturallySpeaking Premium and I use my 1st generation Jawbone bluetooth headset to talk to it.

Had to train it a little bit and teach it a few words, but that didnt take long and now it rocks. I can type 40 - 50wpm but I can speak about 140wpm. Need a 500 word article? Thats fine, takes me 5 to 7 minutes to speak whatever is on my mind and edit a few errors and post it.

Should work with any headset, I just used one that I had laying around. But it didnt work very well with the cheaper USB headset I got from Best Buy. The Jawbone is noise cancelling and has self-adjusting volume and I wasnt using it anymore because my truck has all that bluetooth hands-free stuff built in. All I had to do was buy a bluetooth receiver for my computer, was like $17 from a local computer store.

One question.... When you guys build a new network.. How long from the time you start building it until you really start too see the traffic/sales?

Do you share domains/ips/hosting providers on some blogs or do you split them up for variety & seo purposes?

I have all domains spread on different hosts and ip's.

Traffic is almost instant, or say a couple of days It can take some time to see sales. Most my blogs have 100-500 uniques a day so I'm strictly going volume. Much easier to get 10 blogs to 300 uniques a day than 1 to 3000 IMO.

I remember back in the day with free sites and doing the triple triple thing from voltar... Was a good way to cast the net... Seems blogs and wp made it all much easier these days... I should really start a little network again of them...

When I put a new blog online, I try to get a few links to it from my network and from directories. I know some here don't submit to directories, but I have always done it and it has proven to be beneficial. Gives a good traffic boost to start and helps your site get indexed quickly. I know there are other ways to get indexed, but this is the way I do it.

I update the new blogs blog monthly and see how it goes from there by keeping track of the SERPs and of course the sales

OMG, you just opened my eyes man. this is great. It seems it is problem that there are no such words in vocabulary as strapon, femdom and similar. I just hope it can be custom made.

Think about the biggest sites in the world... Many of them have some form of popup or popunder... So should you! After playing with shit enough I found that I was pissing away 50% of my income keeping things "clean"...

When blogging I just use thumblogger, create a blog, put three posts on it and forget about it. I never update and they get hardly any traffic but they do make a sale every now and then. How and why? I still don't know.
