Nope, not really.

For some reason discovery channel always runs a "mayday" marathon before the Vegas Internext show. And yes, I've seen almost every episode. But I still fly. :) I'm hoping that if the problem is known enough for them to make a tv show about it, it's probably fixed by the time I get on a plane.
But I still won't fly certain airlines due to bad maintenance records and such. |
I used to be affraid back in the day but not anymore... Still don't like too bumpy rides though...
Advice, try sleeping pills... You won't sleep or almost won't, but it will raise your tolerance bar and you will be way more calm... :2 cents: |

But with getting on a commercial air liner, your fear of heights shouldn't engage at all. There's no way to realize you are high up, and even looking out the window of the plane hasn't affected me in that way. It's more like you are on a really big bus that is on a road that is sometimes pretty annoyingly bumpy, but with stewardesses and drink service. That's it. |

Does that... tell you anything? Okay I'm just messing with you. Really they don't. :D |
Yeah Im scared but I wont let my fear bothers me the entire flight, but honestly Im just nervous like hell...

Meanwhile, your fear of flying can be easily overcome with the following: 1 -Alcohol. Not enough to get drunk (they wouldn't let you on the plane) but a nice little buzz to take the edge off. 2 -Xanax. Once a small (1mg) pill kicks in you'll wonder what all the fuss was about. (Not to be used with alcohol) 3 -Study this: www (dot)fearofflyinghelp(dot)com It's helped everybody I've turned on to it. One more thing...Careful driving to the airport. That's the dangerous part. |
