    For your 2nd car had you rather have this Viper or this SL500

    I love both for different reasons. Rules: Please ignore the price gap and the car color as I would probably pick different colored exterior and interior. Since this would be a 2nd car the Benz being better for winter doesn't apply.

      SL... drove a Viper I did a show install on and it was way to nutty for normal street...

          I've bought SL600 Brabus to my wife. Great car, I like it. Not sure that Viper can be as comfortable as Mercedes! +1 to SL

                  SL is more convertible for every day use but if you really want to speed then go with Viper. I love both cars.

                      fuck, 40k for a benz like that is nothing. Thats 26k euros here. That same car would be twice as expensive here.

                              Those Benz's are weird. They depreciate ULTRA fast here the first 3 years and then they level off. I think that Benz would cost close to 100k here new. It is definitely a sweet spot to buy at if you don't mind used.

                              I don't drive fast, but I think the Viper is a little flashier. The Benz is more comfortable and I guess classier. I don't really associate money and class so I say "I guess".

                                                          I'd go with the Benz. I worked warranty claims for a dealership (specializing in Vipers) straight out of the military, and I'd never buy one of those. That was years ago, so they might be better now, but everyone that sold came back, and that was when people were on a 3 year waiting list for one.

                                                                  The sencible, inteligent choice is the the SL500 which is a very nice car and will keep more of it's value.

                                                                  But why would do the sencible thing, when you can ride in a car that will make you feel that you could die in an instance!

                                                                                                              a Viper is for older kids.. a SL is a real ride. Dont get the latest model, it looks like crap. Get a used one from 2005 or so. The SL55 AMG isnt that much more expensive but has a lot of more power and looks a way better.

                                                                                                                                  but a Viper I almost bought a few years ago but once you drove a nice Benz it's hard ever to buy another brand.
