Truth is, home court is much less of a factor in the 2-3-2 (which the finals are) vs 2-2-1-1-1 (rest of playoffs) . 3 in a row for the Team without home court can be huge if they manage to steal one of the first 2 in Bost.
Also, the Lakers have improved far more then the Celtics over the course of the season (they also didnt have Gasol when they played Bost)

Im thinking celtics but its going to be close. Garnett is a more imposing force in all around game than Kobe and the lakers bench is a little deeper, and both Garnett and Kobe are not game finishers so its up in the air. It will come down to someone like Peirce or Odom taking over the games late.No doubt one may quote history to support any cause, as the devil quotes scripture.
