I am still a big RHCP fan, I actually like their last album a lot. The only album that was weak was when Dave Navarro was in there, his "one hot minute" lasted exactly as long as the albums title.

There were 2 good songs on that album i think with Dave.

Anyway their last few albums are fucking horrible. They turned into a bunch of crybabies and all their new songs have to have a deeper meaning blah blah.

Completely agree, I can't stand them now. They go from making songs like Sir Psycho Sexy to this new crap that's unbearable

First started to listening to them back in the mid/late 1980's when I was into skating. They're still good but definitely went commercial a long, long time ago.

I think that their newer music is among their best ever and Frusciante is an awesome guitarist. I had my overdose of Freaky Styly, Uplift Mofo Party Plan and Mother's Milk back when I was in college, and saw them live too. But those days are over and I think the maturity in their music is refreshing.
