Harvey Korman was a good comedic actor, that played well off of other characters.
His partnership with Tim Conway, which lasted decades, was far and away his best work.
Tim Conway steals the scene in this sketch, but Korman was always good as the straight guy too (although he was fighting to keep from cracking up in this scene):

yeah that one hurt - makes me feel old - he was a fantastic sketch comedian. watching Tim Conway try to break him up, always successfully,on Carol Burnett was classic 70's TV.
