Who Was A Fan Of The Show 'Twin Peaks' ??

Remember watching this years ago on tv. I think a new 10 DVD box-set with series 1 & 2 is out now. It's not in the shops over here yet but i've seen it on a few sites. Gonna buy it for sure.

The show ended up fucking freaky as hell, but i still used to looooove it.. Ahhh memories...

Nobody can accuse Angelo Badalamenti not taking his work seriously...

Yeah I was a massive fan, never seen it till the end though. I recently got the DVD's too haven't had a chance to check it yet.

The characters in the series, the environment, the music, the crazy absurd humour that's tough to digest for someone, the mystery plots, the insanity, the atmosphere - such a remarkable show and Kyle McLachlan was simply the best man to play the main character.

I loved that show, although I didn't always understand it.

During a trip up to Seattle years ago, I even took a day trip to Snoqualmie Falls and did a "Twin Peaks" tour...

Here is a link to one of many sites that provide Twin Peaks Self Guides or Tours.

Of course be sure to visit the Salish Lodge at Snoqualmie Falls too. The food there is excellent, although it's a lot more upscale and pricey than the Double R Diner (where they have the best damn coffee, and is the place where pies go when they die).

The midget used to say the word "GARMONBOZIAAAAAAAA" Which I think meant pain and sorrow. What a fantastic freak. The midget went on to act in the series Carnival on HBO. Anyone like that series?

I really liked it at first like most people did.

But just like all of David Lynch's stuff, it got too weird, stupid, and senseless in the end.

There's no doubt it did seem to get a bit too crazy for it's own good.

I actually got the DVD set not too long ago. It looks pretty amazing, even on a big telly, considering its age. It's got a decent amount of extras but the 30 original episodes are the gold.
