Untill a couple of years ago you would when you buy content just check the id's yourself to make sure all is fine, put content online and forget about it, I bet a lot of people lost various kind of documentation they have on their content.

I can understand it's good with dealing in underage shit same as the US law. However what is the specifics? I have TGP/Blog servers there and no way can I get 2257 records for sponsor content.

for the government this would be the first step (around other flaws in the law) to chase the P2P & tubes I guess from a different angle since they could not bypass the law of privacy that internet providers, upload sites and hosting companies could use to "pass it off as customer privacy"

I know we run all our things as required by laws and regulators (within telecommunication) but I also do know there is a ton of people that do not ahve their shit together.
It will hit primary people that is struggling to survive in the biz, although they may still take it serious.
Without knowing the context of the law I cant comment if it is good or bad, personally for myself I dont care as I have nothing to worry about

Those that can't or don't comply go. A lot of them will be people loading the Internet with free porn, often stolen. Not a single surfer is lost. Ye I understand about people moving, but if more countries followed this law it would be great.

I have nothing against this, we have the documents for all content that we have, but what about an affiliate that uses sponsor content on his site? Does he need documentation as well or can he just say, I got this from sponsor X, so go there if you want the release/ID?
