Save it locally and just drag it into your ff window. PS Great work on this Stuart. A couple of people are going in ignore.

Hmm.. anyone else get this error?
I just removed everything on linux and xp and retried and I don't get that error.
And yes, you can try as FrameShifter said. Download it and try from there. It should go a lot smoother.

And thank you FrameShifter :)

Stuart this is truly one of the most useful plugins for FF I have ever seen. Great job on it.

A couple of questions though... Is there a plan to highlight threads with certain keywords? That would be an excellent addition.

Also I don't use FF much (gasp) Is there any way you could port this to be used with IE?

PS I had no issues installing it.

Well, it wasn't a plan, but now it is :D
Yes, highlighting threads by keyword is a great idea. It would really help you find threads about you or your company, or just a topic you like. It's on my list! :thumbsup

And sadly no, there are no plans to port this over to IE. IE is just way to nasty of a beast.
Perhaps some day in the future, maybe... but for right now, I have no plans on doing that.

Thank you for the compliment though. That means a lot to me. I appreciate it :thumbsup

Awesome. Perhaps a different color per keyword (or for all if that's too much) to help separate user highlighted posts from the keyword highlight posts.

I totally understand about IE, I figured it was a long shot. :1orglaugh

Great plug-in. Very useful.

Only thing that niggles me is that the Sub Menu at the bottom covers/obstructs any phrase or word that is searched for using CTRL+F on the page, if it is not on the viewable screen when the search is initiated.

Port that sucker over to Google Chrome. :winkwink:

Thank you and yes, you are quite correct. That is a problem. I'm not yet sure what I'm going to do about it, but I am trying to find a fix for that.

And I'd love to port it to Chrome, however time is not my friend at the moment for personal projects. If there are any Gears/WebKit developers that would like to give me a hand, I'd love to see what can be done.

By the way, this has been added... you can now highlight threads by keyword. I just haven't made it so that you can set individual colours yet.
It's hard to explain but it's a lot harder than you'd think.
