I need a good DVD RIPPER. Please help.
I bet I have installed 10 rippers in the past 12 hours. What buggy pieces of crap most of these are.
I am looking to pop a DVD in the drive and output a finished video. (one step) But the biggest issue I am running into with them are the crop features. The cropping and watermarking features on these things suck ass. It's difficult as hell to output a video on these things with no black on either the top or sides. A few were able but they couldn't keep the target resolution. WTF? Out of the 10 or so I tried many had the features but just didn't work and were very buggy. Some seemed to be similar code but tweaked in different areas. RECOMEND ME A GOOD ONE PLEASE! cheers, bv |

ImTOO Ultimate DVD Ripper 5 required manually setting the crop to get it just right. Also the presets blow out easily if you make small tweaks, it is daunting to get it right and saved. Just thought I'd give a heads up in case you haven't tried that one yet - it won't do what you need.

Sorry to bring up an old thread but if you haven't found a solution yet you should definately take a look at DVDFab. This is a pay for product that is absolutely outstanding! I rip videos with this thing and they are really good quality. Best piece of software I found that does this.
