This visa thing seems to have created a whole resurfacing of the blame game...everybody's pointing fingers at all of us "smut peddlers" and it's grating my last nerve. I heard a news report a bit ago where some backwoods Bible thumping fire and brimstone dipshit was hollering about how our youth is so corrupt BECAUSE OF the easy access of internet porn and all us "smut peddlers" that supply it. Blaming us and blaming parents for not monitoring their kids.

I say BULLSHIT.

It's not the parents fault anymore than it's our fault. I say neither are to blame for kids accessing porn or anything else.

If I've said it once, I've said it a zillion times...sex and porn and all it entails is so vastly popular for one reason only...because the puritanical, fundamentalist, repressive mentality of the elder law makers and especially the church have raised us all to recognize deriving pleasure from sex as *bad*. Wrong.

It's TABOO and because it is, it holds seductive appeal to *everyone* who's ever been restrained from it.

We want what we cannot have. We are compelled by those taboos straight from our own curiosity. The only ones to blame for any of this arguement existing at all are those repressed, fundamentalist mentalities for ever making sexual pleasure taboo to begin with.

You know when you're a kid and you discover masterbation, and then you make the mistake of grabbing your *private parts* (see??) without even much thinking about it, when you got all giddy and excited by something...and soon as yer mom saw it, she got on ya about *don't touch that* - basically teaching you that touching your private parts is bad and wrong and you're gonna grow hair on your palms and go blind.

So, for YEARS AND YEARS you follow this conditioning, buying into it (even tho you know you still whacked off in the shower all the time - but ya just never would admit it)...and then finally you grow up, you experience life, you finally reach that place where the taboo is destroyed and whenever you masterbate, you don't think about your mom or going blind. (Well, we hope, anyhow).

Those people wrongly assume that when you remove controls and restraints that people will be unable to police themselves, therefore will - at the first sign of total and absolute freedom - run screaming into the streets maiming and killing and plundering, fornicating and all sorts of twisted shit.

In reality, there will always be an open indulgence in whatever we've been restrained from, but it ALWAYS WILL BALANCE ITSELF OUT NATURALLY. No laws required. And most people in society are normal so they'll be able to police themselves.

A kid begs for a toy and his parents deny him that toy, and the longer they do, the more he wants it. So finally for Christmas they buy it. He plays with it 24/7 for about 4 days then forgets about it.

The ignorant presume that we as porn peddlers are "preying" on kids and introducing them to porn and that's a crock of shit. Their parents very well are conscientious people who don't dare subject the kids to adult material. But they themselves are still grown and still partake in the old in out from time to time. And inevitably, the kids will get a hold of it.

Think about it. All of you guys peddling porn. Remember when you got online for the first time? Remember when you discovered the abundance of free smut? You got all excited like ya hit the motherload, sexuality became a little more rich than it had before the Net, meeting people, strangers, forming that rapport, existing on that wave was a supreme turn on.

But the novelty always wears off. That's all it is is novelty. Those of us who decided to peddle it aren't doing it - really - because we're smut addicted slimeballs, but because we've all seen the goldmine in the business end, we saw the potential cash, it was the entrepreneureal spirit that kicked in. And you know sure as you're reading this that whenever you see a picture of a naked chick, no matter how posed and how naked, it just doesn't quite turn you on like it did before you turned it into a product. Now you see tits and they're just tits. There's no novelty.

The balancing out happened here with the porn peddling too.

Instead of fighting the losing arguement, we oughtta be trying hard to get these opressive, antiquated laws off the books. Blame the ones who make sex taboo...hold them accountable.

If they didn't make such a ig deal about it nobody would really give a shit in the long run...
