But its true when our dog was a pup and we took him out for walks we used to have all the girls saying "aww thats so cute what kind of dog is that" now he is almost 3 years old the only people who want to pat him are either 90 year old ladies or other fat old dog walkers like myself..be be warned its short lived so make your move on the girls while you have a pup..

A boston terrier, they are small about 15-20 lbs.happy playful dogs. They arent all delicate like most small dogs so you can play with them. They were originally 50 lbs fighting dogs, they breed to the dog down to you what see now but they still got the heart. They have short hair so its not every month to the dog groomer and no major shedding.Whatever dog you choose please go to www.petfinder.com and adopt.They are so many dogs that would return the love you give it 100x. All of my dogs have been rescues, one mutt and two pure breed bostons. Also getting a dogs around 1 yrs old is nice, chances are they are housebroken and they arent as high maintance.
I take shorty out the responses he gets from hot girls, Im like shit this is what I needed when I was single. lol

I have only recently become aware of Bernese. They are majestic, beautiful dogs. I don't think I would want to deal with the shedding though.

My neighbor takes his to get it clipped all the time. Keeps the coat a bit shorter than it would typically be and it helps some but they sure are shedders.

I'm sure it varies from girl to girl. I personally love bully breeds, but plenty of people - women included - think they're evil, bloodthirsty animals. Hell, I've seen both guys and girls cross the street to avoid my BOXER just because she has a square head.

If you're really so concerned with chick magnets, avoid an all-black dog. There are statistics showing that black dogs tend to be avoided/ignored both on the streets and in shelters, regardless of their breed. I believe it, my all-black Shar Pei was at his shelter for over a year before I found him... and he's the goofiest, sweetest dog ever so I have no idea how anyone passed him over. DOG RACISM!
