Webair too funny.. LMFAO!

I hadn't ever used webair before.. I have my own dedicated servers..

But I used them about a week ago to register a domain name (as i wanted to speed up the transfer of a domain i had bought from someone else that uses webair)...

Anywhoo.. after i regged the domain and setup my account, i couldn't log in..

it was a drinking night, and I later realized I had a friggin typo in my email address (username)... (Lesson learned: Don't Drink and Reg)

Well.. I called over the weekend, but the domain reg support guys are not around on weekends, and it couldn't be handled via a trouble ticket.. They told me to call during the week and ask for domain registration support..

So I finally got around to calling their support today:

I opted for the operator (as domain name registration support was not an option)

Some gruff lady answers the phone and all she says is: "WHAT?"

LOL.. A bit taken aback, I fumbled for words, but finally spit out that i needed to talk to domain registration support.

She says: "HANG ON!"

LOL..

So she transfers the call, and a guy answers the phone and says: "Ya?"

LMFAO!

All i can picture in my mind is that webair is run out of some mobile home in Tennessee, with a car up on blocks in the yard and the operator is the mother with rollers in her hair and a cigarette hanging out of her mouth, and her way of transferring the call was to cover the phone with her hand and yell to her son (who is unshaven, has a beer gut and is wearing a stained wife beater t-shirt) to "pick up the damn phone"

My issue was taken care of quickly, but I just thought the customer service dialogue was funny as hell and felt the need to share lol

Crazy story. I have many servers with Webair for years and never had a single problem that wasnt fixed in less than 24 hours.

but i remembered i had to go through the webair menu to get to her.. and even after i remembered i had used the menu, i still second guessed myself... when the 2nd guy got on the line, i just about pissed myself..

Kinda reminds me of my sons old Pre-paid cell phone through Virgin mobile.. they had a marketing gimmick... i.e.: if he forgot to top up, we'd get a phone call with a recorded message that would say shit like:

i remember calling nastydollars support one time for a missing check or something and the lady did the same thing "yah what ?" i actually thought i had dialed the wrong number so i said "sorry wrong number" then called back and got same lady , she turned out to be nice and solved my problem, maybe she had a bunch of crank calls or something right before i called.
