DirtyF you are 100% right. Hip-Hop is all bullshit. Anybody who thinks people like 50 cent have talent have never really heard the guy. I saw him on Jimmy Kimmel Live a few months ago and he sounded like shit because some technicial forgot to turn on his harmonizer (I think that is what its called - its a gadget that layers sound and plays them back in near-real time, with a slight delay of a few miliseconds to make you sound like you are your own backup singer).

Anyway the guy just stumbled through the words while 4 or 5 other guys on stage yelled useless crap into their mics too.

ill agree most of the rappers (especially new) are stupid, their lyrics dont mean anything. but that can be said of just about any music as well, people coping each other, and just doing whatever gets them $$$. this can be applied to everything from pop, to country, to rock, to metal... is it really necessary to generalize to such a large extent?
