Congratulations Sarah!
Being on diet is hard, but if you are motivated as you are, you can reach your goal sooner.
Best wishes! :thumbsup

Thats pretty awesome Sarah!! Shows you good things happen when you really fight! a big thumbs up! What exactly did you change? Just food patterns or also start doing more exercise?

Vendot 05-23-2008 06:45 AM

Thats brilliant sarah. I badly need to get checked about diabetes. Ive done a lot of research and im still not 100% sure about the symtoms but i am glucose intolerant.

PS I concur that youd make a cute diabetic...

Both but the changes of eating slow burning wholefoods and eating much less meat, etc is probably the biggest factor. I actually had to drop a good chunk before I could do much exercise safely but once I did I got moving and I exercise for about 45 minutes most days of the week.

Get tested because you still have it even if you aren't diagnosed and unchecked diabetes is really not nice.

Congrats Sarah, you did a great job. Funny but I have known diabetics who weren't fat at all btw.

digifan 05-23-2008 07:49 AM

Maybe they were type 1?

Honez 05-23-2008 07:57 AM

Sarah, that is awesome news. I have no doubts you will hit whatever goal you have set for yourself. For now, give yourself a big hug for being good to your body. You deserve it!

First and foremost congrats on all you have accomplished. I have a you niece with type 1 diabetes and although type 2 is different I know how much you have fought to overcome what could have been various serious and very deadly. I couldn't be more impressed and I'm glad that you took a few moments of your day to share your story with others who may be struggling with similar problems.

Next I want to say don't feel the need to defend or explain yourself to these fuckers. What you have done you did for yourself and trust me when I say, these stupid asses don't deserve your time.

And in closing I want you to know there are some of us out there, that although we don't post often are proud of what you have accomplished and support your continued hard work and dedication to survival.

alby_persignup 05-23-2008 09:36 AM
