So it looks like I'm going to be part of a small undercard for the Jose Canseco fight. If you haven't heard about this, here's a link:

Rats, I can't post a link yet. Well, just google "jose canseco" and "Vai Sikahema" (the featured bout), and you'll find info about the fight.

I have a bit of history in a few Philadelphia niches, and I'll be featured early on, so this looks to be a decent opportunity if you want some exposure.

I don't know who my boxing opponent is going to be yet. I still have to pass the physical and so does everyone else.

At any rate, if you want to sponsor me or just sponsor the event in general, please contact me via e-mail (steven [at] pridebucks) or on ICQ. The sponsor's signage will be placed in the arena, and if you sponsor me individually, I will wear something with your company's logo/whatever on it.

Apologies in advance if this is considered spam in any way. I'm not running the event, but I've gotten along with the promoter really well and am looking to make this a success for him.

When he played for Seattle he used to come in to my club that I promoted all the time and he was not the aggressive type. kind of small too

Also note that there are several spots available at this time, not just on me, but for ringposts, bumpers, banners, and announcements at the event. There will also be a booth where schwag could be given away.

A URL or logo on Canseco's back is also still available.

Finally, I just want to say that this fight is something I am doing on my own on the side, and is not sponsored or affiliated with Pridebucks in any way.

No they are not. We have to undergo thorough physicals in accordance with New Jersey State Athletic Association regulations. Canseco has still received lots of teasing from Vai though.

I do not need a sponsor. But it seems like a good opportunity for an adult company to get their name out at an event that is open to our advertising (they have a local gentleman's club sponsoring part of the event as well). Portions of the event will be televised on NBC-10, and they are working on other television as well, but nothing as of yet. The fights will also be available on demand through Wright Television, who worked with this promotions company for the last Danny Bonaduce fight.
