And as a cyclist I hate when cars don't let a person know what they're going to do. Even when no one is behind you at a light you're supposed to do it.

If you don't use signals when you change then you're probably from New Jersey, Pennsylvania or Illinois. :winkwink:

I always indicate when turning or changing lanes even at 2am with no-one else on the road, its a good habit to have imo.

Its such a simple thing to do but so many people are too lazy to flick on an indicator

Ya see, I live in Atlanta. On the occasion that I'm lured out into rush hour traffic the rules change. In Atlanta, rush hour is some kind of vehicle warfare. Normal people become rude as shit willing to cut you off to protect 10 feet of space and avoid one more vehicle getting in front of them. It takes an hour to go 10 miles in rush hour, so people lose their minds.

Now, if you're trying to merge on or off good chance traffic for any given ramp is backed up at least a half mile onto the highway at any given exit. There's not a single one of those people who wants to let you in. If you signal, they will close the gap you were looking to slip into and close the door. How dare you get in front of them!

So, you have to use tactics, you learn to hang back, approach the line slowly but aggressively, spot yourself a huckleberry and dive in front of him before he or she can do anything about it. No signal, just see your spot, take your spot.

Even in the parking lot, with no one around. It's just a habit, I still suck at driving.

I hate using the signal. It's such a pain. They need an easier way, such as gripping the wheel hard on one side.

Sometimes I use them but most of the time I do not.

I do it most times, not in the evening when I am almost allone on the highway.
