Discuss what's fucking going on, and which programs are best and worst. One-time "program" announcements from "established" webmasters are allowed.

A serious CCBILL question for anyone to answer.

Hi, I have been using CCBILL for a few months now for an adult website. Recently, I have suspended using CCBILL for new sign ups and went with another server based program which also incorporates an IP tracking system. This IP tracking system locks out users that have logged in from too many IP address's in a certain period of time for 24 hours.

Several of my members, that signed up through CCBILL, are now experiencing HEAVY lockout's because their login's and passwords have been used from various places on the Internet, OTHER than their own home.

This is a disturbing trend that I have noticed over the last couple of weeks. Does anyone have any idea's on this?

Thanks,
Tanya

I didn't use this script, totally I'm not using CCBill but I'm admining my own scripts for thsi problem. This generally happens for AOL and WebTv users. If they are comman users you can be in trouble that somebody found out a way to hack your script. Explore your logs you can see this. Trying to password protect the script or referer check can help.

No these are not AOL or WEBTV folks. The script omits them. They are dial up's, Road runner, DSL, etc. members and I know for a fact that they are not password sharing either.

The only trend is that they are all members that signed up through CCBILL. I am not accusing CCBILL, but is there anything stopping their employee's from sharing logins and passwords?

Does RonC have any insight to this?

Thanks.
