Sometimes I use 'k' but most of the time I use 'kk'. No real reason why, though. Just habbit.

Spend more time on gaming and check its origins and you'll see that it really doesn't mean 'ok ok'. It oddly (and rather sadly) orginated from 'OK Kewl'. Seems spelling cool properly wasn't....cool in the first place, then the abbreviation happened.

We are talking about online here, I know loads of people who type kk, I do too. Fuck knows why it just feels better then typing k. Obviously nobody says it in real life do they... Do they? :|

its more along the lines of lazy typing for , "Ok cool" or "gotcha"

and yes, it does stem from online gaming, particularily, MMO's.

I always did that when i'm lazy to type, but still wanted to reply.
