Anyone providing PHONE billing for Indian customers

While there are some some providers offering a similar solution to bill Indian customers through cell phones, the billing rate is very very low
Anyone offering something like $30 per call?

We do have phone billing in india, billing someone $30 in india is like billing someone in usa $1500+
I doubt it will happen, if you find any make sure get prepayments

Since India does not have domestic premium rate numbers, surfer needs to make a regular IDD call to get his password. The international settlement rate between the telcos has fallen over the years, so high payouts not possible.

But as Due points out, even if it were possible, $30 would represent an enourmous amount of the surfer's overall disposable income.

So different business model : instead of granting a month's access for $30, why not charge the access for a day via the phone?

Whilst phone billing is not recurring by default, if you have compelling content, the chances are good that they will come back again later and pay you this way - not least since your gave him the option to to commit to a subscription in the first place...

there is tremendous disposable cash available with a huge rather gigantic class of youngsters today. I have seen people blow away over $1000 (not rupees) in a single night on a hooker and booze and still repeat the process the next evening !
However there has to be some way to bill those guys
