Since you didn't E-Mail me and just posted a thread calling me out.. I know if I ever post again this would be brought public so I am bringing it public myself.

Dude, HUGE APOLOGIES I had to bail on your project.
Something came up and I had to takeoff right away.

If the project had actually been ASAP like I was originally told... If you had given me an exact date like I asked.... if you had gotten me the copy on that Friday.. If all vector logos had been given to me right away.. Etc..

This project would not have dragged on and would have been completed 3 weeks ago..

I was only doing this project as a favor to one of my favorite brands and one of the most popular people in the industry...

I am sorry for bailing and leaving you hanging!!

Sorry Bro! But you did offer me less cash and tell me over and over again how it's just a throw away item... So that does tell me it was no big deal for you..

Airek wanted a 624x80 flash banner and 2 sized gifs for GFY for his launch of Shane's World Online..

Some personal shit came up and I had to make the decision to bail.

Yes I realize that bailing and cutting off all contact was the wrong thing to do but it was my only option due to my circumstances.

To put it this way..

1) I lost the hours I put into the banner.
2) I lost all of the work I had to turn down that week
3) I lost the other planned banner with Shane's World
4) I lost all of the word of mouth work Airek could have gotten me
5) I lost all of the work going around on the forums that week.
6) I lost all ETC work that I don't even realize yet.

So all in all I am out a VERY VERY LARGE some of money and a ton of quality portfolio work.. I am out a HELL of a lot more than Airek is out... Remember that flamers!

I am also fully aware of Who Airek is, Who he is friends with and What Shane's World is...

So I am FULLY aware of what I was doing and had to do.

Flamers keep in mind I don't care.. But if anyone flames or insults me I will defend myself.. I have been following this industry since before I could squirt.. Soo.. beware I am not nice and know quite a bit about the people who post here

I think there is something else to mention. The reason I had you do a couple banners for me is to see if you could handle the job and see what you'd come back with. I had tons of stuff for you to work on once you got those finished. No project leader with any brains is going to lay thousands and thousands of dollars of work on someone brand new to the biz without seeing what you can do.

If you had just ICQ'd me when you resurfaced from wherever you disappeared to you'd still have work coming your way.

Don't forget, I chose you based on your skills with the STFU banners, not the other way around. I have tons of designers I can choose that are proven. I am constantly on the lookout for new, talented designers with potential to grow. That is why I came to you. Why would you just shoot yourself in the foot over flaking on designing two banners? Because it took me a little longer to get a different design from another designer is the reason you disappeared?

Communication is key to any relationship. If you would have told me you had personal issues that would prevent you from finishing the project I would have happily asked you to contact me when you have time to focus on work.
