they seem good for burgers, hot dogs, grilled cheese sandwhiches, but the one time I used it for chicken breasts it made them so fucking dry.

Things cook so quickly that you have to get things off the grill in time to keep it juicy.

I love this thing, I wish I had a refcode!

Those things BUST !! I have one OG Foreman one and another knock off.......A smaller one. Both work great.........You can make the best quesadilla's with those things..............

The grill I ordered with my ARS rewards points just arrived. Nice sleek light design. I think I'll cook myself some pork chops for lunch.

Oh man, the George Foreman grill simply rocks!!

Last week, I invited the family over for the BBQ. Everyone was there, enjoying the tasty juicy hamburgers and chicken.

Everyone was drinking, we were making jokes.. It was the best family reunion ever.. Nothing bad happened.

Until my sister asked me where grandma was...

Nobody was talking.. I had to answer.. Everyone was staring at me.

Took a bite in my hamburger and winked at everyone..

The whole family started laughing. And realised that grandma's meat was so good with a George Foreman grill. I even sold two that day to my family members.

Thank you George foreman grill!

:thumbsup

Can't beat it. He actually came up with a really good concept.

It is a super bitch to clean. Maybe if you just wipe it off it is cool...but I prefer to wash it with hot soapy water and dry it so that there is no yucky stuff on it!

Anyway, get it for the speed of grilling and flavor. One of those consumer groups did a study of the health claims made for it (that it gets the fat out) and found that most of the fluids that drip out of it are water, not fat.

it depends on what you cook, but you can tell by looking at it how much fat is there.

Have had them for several years, best appliance there is after the microwave :)

Easy to clean -- when warm, use a damp sponge and just wipe it clean -- it's non-stick so even 'yucky stuff' should clean up real fast

boneprone 10-16-2002 03:04 PM

why clean it??
The heat will kill any bacteria that can do you harm.

Do you honestly think the Chineese Resturants you eat at clean the grills or change the cooking oil in the fryer??

Hell no.

boneprone 10-16-2002 03:05 PM

how to clean a product shouldnever be of concern.
especially when it gets so hot.

i have crabs

phogirl69 10-16-2002 03:27 PM

What do you guys use to flavour your chicken and meat when grilling??? I mean like what kind of sauce that's easy to find in the grocery store? Is the Foreman grill faster than using a regular oven??

O'h yeah, and does this thing use coal or do u just plug it in an electric outlet? It looks groovy, i want one...

You ever want to know why George is grinning like an idiot in those adverts?

He's cleared over $300 million pimping those pieces of junk.

Sly_RJ 10-16-2002 05:46 PM

The other day a friend of mine used his to warm up leftover pizza. Said it worked great.

Sliced potatoes on GF are excellent as well.

It does everything fast and well! A friend of mine even reheats Chinese food with it!

How do you reheat that? Wouldn't it fall between the cracks of the grill??

Pornwolf 10-16-2002 06:29 PM

Yeah it does but that doesn't matter. Look at the grill, it doesn't go anywhere. Fried rice, egg rolls, and everything else seems to work for him.

I couldn't commend him on trying to reheat frozen burritos on the grill though. That's just plain lazy.

I've got one... works great! I personally would have gone with a simaler product that was cheaper but I got it as a gift so i'm not complaining.
