again joel, do your own work. you jump down my throat and try to cause shit, im not going to make it easy for you and give you the answers.
the relationship between pacificrack and oc3 has already been clarified on this forum, i will leave it as vague as that so that you have to go do your own work.

think of it as punishment for opening your yap about shit you know not of.

$22.5 - $30/Mbit is a fine price for such low bandwidth usage, our network is comprised of premium and tier-1 carriers, 11 of them in fact.
Not less than 1 handful like your stuff.

So first you say I sell too cheap, now you say I'm too expensive. MAKE UP YOUR MIND!

Again, I have no need to argue with you ... you're just jealous.

What do I have to be jealous of?

We own our own IP space, we own our own Employees, we own OUR OWN BUILDING. We do not share a building that has 30 other data centers on each floor and share global transit that is just a loop away.

We host several fortune 500 company's, we have been hosting the adult industry since 1994 as well, we also own a data center in Mexico.

So tell me what do I or other host like mojo host need to be jealous of? Do tell.

You really do not know what you are talking about. I said you sell your servers cheap knowing you will make bank off the one customer out of every three boxes you sell will do a lot of overage.

Further more do some research yourself. Why don't you come down to san diego and see what its like to own YOUR own building let alone your own colo.

Well your overage prices are still coming out to anywhere between $22.5 a mbit and $30 a mbit. My point is you are almost doubling your bandwidth prices in overage and that is what you make your profit on.

Second off you did not answer my question. Does OC3 own Pacific Rack, if not are you a reseller? If not a reseller why does OC3 NOC pick up the phone when calling your support line? Do you have a cage in there colo and bring your own bandwidth in or do you own your own colo? It is simple questions. DO you own the building?

My point being if you are going to talk down to MOJO host who has been around a lot longer and in my opinion deserves a little more respect coming from your company saying he should move his operation to your location tell us why.

was answered in another thread same company that owns OC3 owns part of pacificrack.

Thanks for the answer, my point being is that Pacific Rack does not have its own employees then it is nothing more then a company partial owned by OC3 networks and shares its recourses with OC3 Networks.

Glad we got that settled.

well, im glad you proved how much of an idiot you are. isn't it about time you take someone to a strip club and try to sell him hosting?
do you make them sign while they are staring at the stage?

split_joel 05-15-2008 11:53 PM

Guess I am an idiot then since I just made a very valid point and the best you can say is I am an idiot. :error

so then why the fuck do you even care about other companies price? it looks like they offer better deal then you do and judging by this forum (nobody said a bad thing about them) have a great support to back it up... if euro hosts can setup 3ghz/1gb ram WITH windows OS for $80/month on 100mbit line with 3000gb monthly transfer I see no reason why others can't do the same thing.. and don't give me that "if you pay that little you get shitty support/shitty pipe line" because my boxes never had a single issue in 2 years 24/7 and the bandwidth is top notch...

d-null 05-16-2008 12:12 AM

I've found the support at Pacificrack has been top notch, maybe even a step above that... seriously, they are really doing a good job there :thumbsup

split_joel 05-16-2008 12:17 AM

I have talked to pacific rack on instant messenger and he talked to me about his side and how he feels and I can see somewhat of where he is coming from so I am stopping the flame war now.

TidalWave 05-16-2008 12:18 AM

yes, flame war stopped now. spoke with split on aol

Woot, woot.. a rant.

With all due respect I think the joke is on the host posting the offer. Server, bandwidth, space, support and power for $80? Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. Whatever fuzzy math makes that work, they can have all of the business they want at those rates.

Brad

Can you please remove the banner in your sig that says "you'll meet or beat any hosting offer". There's plenty other hosts that offer even more than Pacific Rack does for $80, I'm guessing by your response you aren't going to match their pricing.

Duly noted.. I'll consider inserting the word "almost" on some future iteration. As would stand to reason, acceptance of new clients is always at our discretion - as it would be at any service provider. Similarly, there is the obvious exception for price matching comparable services which doesn't apply in this instance but does with plenty of other fly-by-night companies. Additionally, we don't seek or solicit any fully managed hosting clients with less than $250 monthly recurring.

Cheers,

Brad

AlienQ ... he is a retarded racist .... I didn't post in his thread ( that you refer to ) and would not want any business with him :2 cents:

His opinion is worthless ... the guy can't even renew his domain name ....

I agree with you on all that, just curious what he was referring to when saying that Splitinifity had changed names and was no longer even billing him.
