Ron Paul hasn't dropped out yet?

Ron Paul?s presidential bid might remain a long shot, but he continues to head toward the Republican National Convention with an ardent group of supporters and a second-phase strategy aimed at raising the profile of his libertarian-leaning issues, even if he doesn?t win the nomination ...

Gawd, that convention should be fun to watch.
At least Clinton and Obama are only seperated by 2%.

I don't think he's trying to win, he's trying to put a spotlight on his message and the issues that aren't being addressed. That's not nuts.

Rolling through Wilmington, I saw more Ron Paul signs up than another other Pres. candidate.

Except when you drive past the little hilary bombshelter looking campaign HQ. There's always a whackjob or two hanging in front of that place.

If he really wanted to spotlight the issues he should spend some of this money he has raised and try to steal a state. Here in Oregon he has a pretty big fan base. The election is about 10 days away and I haven't seen even one McCain ad on TV and McCain hasn't made one appearance (that I know of) he has it in the bag so why bother? Many of his supporters won't bother voting for him because he already has it won. You would think it Paul really spent some money and put ads on TV, showed up and did rallies and pressed hard he could make a real showing here. He can't win the nomination but if he managed to win the state it would be an embarrassment to McCain and it would him on the map an force them to at least listen to him. Even if he didn't win if he came close that would do him wonders.

Ya, he should just give up, be like the rest of the lazy ass quitters who live in America sitting around all day complaining. Gee, maybe he can even find God and blame him for his failures.

He should try running for Senate. He might actually have a chance to push his issues. 1out of 100 vs 1 out of 435.

The RNC may end up looking like the NV convention... Ron Paul supporters are not the only ones who are pissed that McCain is the nom. Huckabee has a pretty big following and a large number of delegates going to the RNC. It should be fun to watch.
