Except that a model can't do it all on her own and often has a bunch of other people with a lot of time and money invested into everything involving her career in the industry.
When these girls leave, it's rarely after they completed contracts and tied up all loose ends.
Someone ends up getting shafted and it can even end up in court where the model thinks they have some kind of right to demand that their past be wiped out at the cost everyone else.
