I've never heard of them being the most vicious, I think that title's held by the Pit ~ but training and treatment are paramount in the demeanor and behavior of an animal.

Thanx Persiankitty but to everyone else make sure you know what your talking about when saying it's not the most vicious becuase it's the most vicious start dog around , these dogs take pit's like nothing because pit's are stupid, there is a reason they call them (bull )terriors , they take anykind of dawg believe me it's also how you raise the pup that matter but i don't want him walking with my girl and him getting all crazy and eating someone or another dog, so thanks for the info

I've raised rotweillers before and the most important thing is obedience. If during his puppy years the dog doesn't latch on to the fact that you are the master then later on you or your family could be in big trouble.

Sometimes this actually can take quite a bit of nerve. One rottie puppy I had actually scared the shit out of me. For example if he got a piece of meat and you tried to take it away he would snap at you.

So what we used to do was to purposely let him get a choice piece of meat and then try to take it away. If he snarled or didn't release I would kick his ass, not in an abusvive way, but in an initimdating "I am the boss" fashion. In nature dogs are disciplined fairly but quite harshly by the "top dog". If you don't replicate this lesson many dogs will grow up to be a mess, maybe even dangerous.

Here is my current "mutt" - "Navigator", the largest dog on the planet, and a real sweet guy:

The British Bull Terrier no longer holds the title of best fighting dog, and a number of terribly efficient killing dogs have been invented since dog fighting has been outlawed almost everywhere.

The variants of the Staffordshire Terrier (including the American version, the Pit Bull) are not only better fighters, but potentially much more aggressive and vicious. The Bull Terrier is usually a very well-behaved dog, even around other dogs, which can't be said about some of the more vicious pit fighting dogs.

Other fighting breeds are the Tosa Inu from Japan (http://www.eratagaritosainu.com/The%20Tosa%20Inu.htm), the dogo argentino (http://www.dogo.org/Photo_Gallery/Photo_Gallery.htm), the pressa canarios (http://www.dogo-canario.org/Foto%207.htm).

Two Presa Canarios tore a woman to pieces despite the attempts of their handler to restrain them (the dogs were actually the property of a man in prison at the time).

Some of these breeds are gigantic. Presa Canarios can exceed 200 lbs, making them the size of a large mastiff, but with the head of a Pit Bull.

At any rate, what is your interest in these breeds. Normally, when I see someone on the street with a fighting dog, it looks like the owner is someone who might not always be up to good. These breeds require very responsible, strong-willed owners who will work hard to curb their vicious tendencies. Some of these breeds would be better to disappear off the face of the earth.

After all, all dogs are canis familiaris (literally, "common dog" or "family dog") and if a canis familiaris is going to be born into this world, it would better be in the form of a Golden Retriever than a Dogo Argentino.

Pit bull might be the most vicious dog or whatnot but when it comes down to intelegence then your on the wrong page bro, anyhow i think despite all the hate on my man, i feel he wil proove to be something special at a bright age of 8 weeks he is 15lb already looking like a champ eating everything in the house possible and peeing and shitting all over the place

But i'll will get a pic up and show you guy's honestly it was a choice between the pit and this guy but they can't compete honestly because first off the pitbull(american shafferd) was $500 i was thats it, for my boy they wanted $2000 because his parents were some sort of champions in Russia i have papers and all for him i might just take him to the show's and by the way if you ever see a white version of (PIMP) run because they are all deff and the only way to speak to them is by sign language

Pit is nice for fighting but if you want an intelegent dog to love and respect you i think i got what i was looking for
