Your flat out wrong. Mr. Maverick trashed all his principles just to win the nomination and voted against prohibiting waterboarding.

That's why the debates between the Democratic nominee and McCain will be crucial. It is at that point where the hard questions begin. The focus is not on winning the nomination but winning office, and real issues will be discussed.

As long as George Stephanopolous isn't the moderator. What a joke that debate was.

I guess you are not paying attention. There are huge percentages of Clinton and Obama supporters that have said they will vote for McCain or just not vote if their candidate did not get the nod.

I mentioned this several weeks ago and people here thought I was nuts. The numbers have grown significantly since then.

They'll get over it.

Um..just 2 months ago

In an appearance on CBS's 60 Minutes, McCain replied, "Sure, yes, without a doubt" when asked if waterboarding is torture.

"We prosecuted Japanese war criminals after World War II," McCain went on, "and one of the charges brought against them, for which they were convicted, was that they waterboarded Americans."

Nothing like reading the ramblings of idiots who are discussing politics.

They let one of them go back home the other day, and within a week he slow himself while trying to kill some American service men in Iraq. Surprise!

Hey, if we want to take them surfing at Gitmo.... So be it.

And yet on 13 Feb 08 he voted against H.R. 2082 which would require the intelligence community to abide by the same standards as articulated in the Army Field Manual and bans waterboarding.

Thanks for proving my point that he has lost his bearings and abandoned whatever principles he had in a desperate bid to become president.

You're clueless to how politics work. Bill Clinton vetoed a bill that would have raised the minimum wage back in 2000 to $6.15 an hour. Not because he hated raising the minimum wage, but because the Repubs in Congress added a bunch of BS to the bill. But in your eyes all you see is that he vetoed the minimum wage. Try looking at the DETAILS before spouting off.
