                        The way i see it, this doesn't violate any US can spam laws which would make it the same thing as CAN-SPAM compliant (which our president instilled to protect us) in 2003... Every IM on MSN messenger has an advertisement at the bottom belonging to msn... there is a block feature also.. what's the problem? poor guy trying to promote his website online under all this scrutiny

                                            Lol. we all still get paid for the traffic sent, don't get it twisted. If the webmaster is getting paid for the traffic sent , the affiliates are going to get paid for that traffic as well.

                                                law suits are fairly inexpensive for some of these "IM SPAMMERS" hahaha

Spimming is not only a terms of service violation of the messenger client, but also of the sponsor program. If you can't learn to generate traffic any other way then maybe you should just give it up.
