CCBill vs Epoch - Affiliatesystem!

Who has the best affiliatesystem in place these days? Any one that has done some kind of comparison between the two?

Before it used to be CCBill but then I heard mansion made a new system for Epoch (Paycom) which to me looks a lot more user friendly then CCBill's system.

- What do you paysite owners use and why?
- What do you affiliates prefer and why?
- Other input?

Will be starting with CCBILL only , probably adding also paycom - so there will be more options and a basic cascade...

Then finally add and integrate the complete MPA3.

We will soon be able to offer the affiliate either one. They can choose which one they like the best.

Expect it to go live tomorrow, we are hours from finishing the testing.

I use.
Epoch - Ccbill (Cascaded)
Epoch as my primary processor.
Epoch shows you more affiliate statistics. (Mpa3 engine)

Tanker,

Thanks for your reply.

I'm interested in finding out how people cascade sales from ccBill to Epoch without using MPA3 or NATS. Is that possible for ccBill.

Also, I've already built my own backend to deliver sales tools to my affiliates www.kickasspays.com - does CCBTools have something to offer a person in my shoes?

If you have both, and use CCBill as your main...I know they can set you up to handle cascading between multiple processors.

You can also cascade to CCBill using only Epoch's built in mpa3.

But, I am extremely disappointed with Epoch's back-end. The stats are sketchy at best, my tech contacts over there either do not know the system or leave the company. Either way, don't expect answers back about stats or linking problems.

If CCBill had reps at their cabana last summer at the X-Biz summer forum, I would most likely be with them right now and happy with the state of my affiliate program based what I hear and the number of affiliates that are already happily promoting CCBill sites. Unfortunately they were MIA and an Epoch rep sought me out and convinced me their system would rock.

The day after I signed my contract with Epoch he was fired/let go. That should have been my first clue that Epoch wasn't necessarily the answers for a first time affiliate program regardless of the hype.

Epoch was the first billing company to offer its clients free cascading to alternative billers -and- (importantly) to track affiliate sales through to the alternative processor. Which, btw, we offer three different secondary options to accommodate as many programs as possible.

Additionally, we can (at the sponsors option) pay all affiliate commissions for the sponsor program including sales that were fulfilled by other billing companies and we do this for PPS and Rev-Share programs.

Further, Epoch accepts 14 forms of payment from your international surfers so you are likely to increase your foreign traffic sales.

DepravedPreacher - I'm interested in hearing more from you about what you would like to see in Epoch's back-end stats. Although they are fully functional now they are still in development and any constructive criticism is welcome. You can write to me directly if you prefer.

I don't want to see anything but accurate stats. I won't air out all the stats issues here, but I'd be glad to forward all the email conversations I've had with your reps in regards to stats problems, which will show that there were not really any resolutions to any of them.

I will say that on 3/18 Lange said this, "Let me get with our programmers and take a look at this in the database." I have not yet heard back. In the past, I had to harrass Sean to get an answer for things, answers that never really resolved my issues. I had no desire to spend time harassing Lange in a similiar manner just to get more vague answers. Instead I've spent my time looking for billing alternatives.

The question wasn't who is the best processor, the question was "Who has the best affiliatesystem in place these days?"

Either system allows cascading to the other, so the moron is you!
