***Are Epassporte payments traceable/taxable?

I have a question which was probably asked several other times...

Are the payments received with Epassporte traceable?

Can the IRS find out about this money or The withdrawn made from any ATM in the US..?

'political correctness' and general responsibility will get you many replies saying that "you can never escape the taxman"

that being said, I know several guys in Europe who get paid with epassporte, withdraw their earnings from ATM's and never ever claimed any taxes! (usually young guys, not making/withdrawing more than a few $k's per month though)

(fuck, I know a guy receiving wires to his personal bank account for YEARS in a Western European country who never bothered to open a company and report any kind of income to the local IRS... )

but obviously, if you're serious about your biz, then not reporting income is generally not a good idea and epassporte income could be tracable as well. Better report everything and sleep well at night.

i would not think so
but you should be paying tax on anyone income you make for starters

it WILL catch up with you at some point.

Epassporte doesnt ask for ss# to pass onto the irs so dont think they get the info

unless the irs goes after them and then im sure the feds will be all over everyone

Yes...They have your social security in their records for a reason. Just pay the tax and you'll be fine.

Only if the payments are from a US company reporting them to the IRS, Epassporte doesn't report them...

I actually have been paying all my taxes since i opened the account 4 years ago, i was just wondering about what "polish_aristocrat" said about Peeps in EU compare to the U.S..

I personally know people and companies that use only the EP card at the ATM's so that's why i was wondering how it works here in U.S. and A.

I like to support the useful "war of terror" so i keep paying my taxes.

if you log in to your epassporte account you can see the date, the time, the amount, and the ATM location where the withdrawal was made, that should tell you something, I belive (not 100% sure) that every single ATM transaction gets recorded

of course only unusual ATM transactions will trigger some sort of "reporting mechanism" and might lead to an investigation but if the IRS starts investigating YOU I think they'll have no problem finding out about your epassporte withdrawals

It's not tracable till you somehow get caught... and there are dozens of ways one could get caught, all probably not very likely, but if you do get caught you are beyond fucked, with penalties, interest, lawyer fees, etc, you will probably be paying it off for the next 20 years... and that's a good case scenario too, if they choose to make an example out of you, they will probably tack on some bullshit charges and you will spend a year or 2 in jail... catching a pornographer fucking with the taxman would be a great way to get re-elected

yeah right.

Epassporte (and any bank for that matter) doesn't report anything to the IRS until someone from the IRS/State Dept shows up and demands the information as part of an investigation.

You have no protection, safety or security at all if you are a US Citizen breaking the law. Period. End of story.

Anyone outside the industry reading this board would think everyone here is 12 years old.

For personal accounts, the answer to the question could change a little once you're required to submit all the extra verification docs...

My old college roommate works for homeland security, and we've had this discussion. He used to be F.O.C. before that, and even THEY had ways to track the shit in some database. Not all counties, but his did.
Anyways... I do not have epass, but it comes up enough on the board(s) that I posed the question.

The answer to your riddle is, "yes". Everything electronic, and running through any kind of financial institution is 'traceable' in compliance with homeland security (and even before that). Both domestic, and international.

So, best to pay your taxes. Now to the second part of your not planning to pay taxes question...

Luckily for a lot of people, the IRS is so overwhelmed that it may be 5, 10, 20 years before they catch you. By that time, the money you owe will be in the XX,XXX or XXX,XXX so not only will you get hammered in all their bullshit back taxes in fees. You will most likely end up next to Wesley.

Kinda hard to deny you should have paid SOME kind of tax on income over a decade(s).

The morale of the story is,... it's only a question of 'when', not 'if'.

Thats the answer condensed into 3 lines or to make it even more simple "You can run but you cant hide"

Epassporte,Paypal,Western Uni,all global movement of money is recorded and not just the IRS is interested but goverments worldwide.

Of course it does not mean you are going to get a knock on your door but dont assume using online processors is a way to avoid tax

I'm sure they can find out if they really want to. The Swedish tax department didn't have any idea that I had another VISA account until I told them.. I thought they already knew. They said:

"But your transactions on that card will show up on your swedish bank statement, right?"

But I do pay all my taxes from now on, because I'm sure they can find out if they really look into it..

actually, you should not bother about epass, but rather about the company the money is from ... if sponsor X pays you through epass and you give your information to sponsor X, there might be a tax investigation at sponsor X and than they will find your information as well ... and they dont care on which way you received the money, because they have all the statistics at sponsor X ... but than they will investigate in all your income and find everything
