Adult Internet Stagnating?

Excuse my ignorance on this subject. It's seems to me that people with the means and interest to log onto the internet to surf porn has done so and their doesn't seem to be many new viewers anymore.

For instance, for the past 6-12months most sites (according to sextracker rankings) haven't really grown substantially. One would think that several hundred thousand new visitors would be visiting thehun every 2-3 months? Is that unreasonable considering how many users are supposedly online (in 1999 they were telling us 30 million ppl online). The few sites that have grown (pichunter et al.) are either hitbotting or using loads of blind links in traffic trades to boost their ranking.

Maybe it's just my perception but it seems that more and more we're just recycling the same visitors. I'm not saying this is good or bad. Again, I may be dead wrong. Where the fuck are the other 25 million surfers online? What sites are they visiting? Out of 30 million users only 1-3 million surf porn? It's my undrestanding that the internet is what has brought porn to every household, made it easily accesible, and less than 10% of online users surf it regularily? There's no fuckin' way.

Part of the reason the traffic to the larger sites hasn't grown is because there's also a shit load more smaller sites out there taking a piece of the action. Traffic is still growing but unfortunately so are the amount of sites competing for it.

I thought that the number of competing sites was dwindling. Even some of the larger sites disappear overnight...remember linkbowl.com? And look at what's going on with Rusty's thumbs.to site.

Also recall pantyhose-photo-art doing over 100k last year with Panty mania. Now they're both under 50k/day and they suck dick (maybe under new management). But you see what I'm getting at. Large and small, it's seems if sites are not on the decline or bankrupt, they've stagnated.

I saw something the other day that said the average Internet user spends only 16 hours online per YEAR.

That can't possibly be true.

Ditto although most users don't run businesses online like we do.

That doesn't mean there aren't 5 new ones popping up for each one that dies. Unfortunately a large chunk of the computer semi-literate public still think porn is very easy money.

All bar a few of the new sites will close down again well within 12 months as they make nothing but until they do they still take a slice of the pie.

5-6 years ago if you wanted free porn you went to thehun or maybe PK. These days you have several 1000 other sites giving it away too....

Bear in mind as well I'm talking about traffic not ratios. Ratios are a totally different thing.
